Danaea mazeana

Introduction
This Antillean species closely resembles D. alata, but differs in having usually branched veins, whereas they are mostly unbranched in D. alata. Danaea mazeana occurs at higher elevation than D. alata, so they are rarely found together. In Jamaica it hybridises with the closely related species D. jenmanii.
